Parking at Ventura Harbor – What You Need to KnowWhile a new Paid Parking Program is on the horizon, there’s still plenty of free parking and affordable options for all kinds of visits. Here’s the good news: Parking is still FREE Monday–Thursday (except holidays) Less than 1 hour is FREE – just register your plate when you arrive Street parking and the Dolphin Lot at Safe Harbor Ventura Isle remain FREE On weekends and holidays, it’s just $1 per hour (up to 4 hours) or $10 for a full-day pass One payment covers both Village and beach lots for the day Paid parking will only apply Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and major holidays year-round from 10 AM – 8 PM at Harbor Village and beach lots. On these days, be sure to register your license plate at the parking kiosks or via QR code (regardless of your length of stay). Revenue supports clean restrooms, security, free community events, and facility upkeep – all things that help make your Harbor experience even better. FAQ    Do I need to display anything on my windshield to prove that I paid for parking? No – just be sure to register your license plate at a pay station or on the website or mobile app. Why do I have to provide my license plate if I am staying less than an hour? Registering your license plate allows our Parking Ambassadors to know that you are visiting. If you stay less than an hour, then your parking session ends when you leave. If you decide to stay longer, you can easily extend your stay at the pay station or mobile app (whichever you used when you arrived). Not sure how long you will stay? The following holidays are considered major holidays with paid parking in effect: New Years Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day   Is there anywhere I can park for free? Paid parking at the Village and Beaches is free every Monday through Thursday, except major holidays. Dolphin Lot (located within Safe Harbor Ventura Isle Marina) and Spinnaker Drive are always free.   What time do the lots close? Ventura Harbor Village Lot closes at 12AM. Harbor Cove and Surfer’s Knoll Beach Lots close at 9PM. Boat Launch Ramp is 24/7.   What if I just need to pick up something at the Ventura Harbor Village and will only stay less than 1 hour? No problem: Head to a paystation or go the mobile app and register your plate. When you are done with your visit, no need to do anything else. However, if you decide to spend more time at the Village, you can easily extend your stay at the pay station or mobile app (whichever you used when you arrived). Not sure how long you will stay? Sign up to receive a text reminder!   If I visit the beach and the Harbor Village on the same day, do I have to pay for parking twice? No – just pay for parking once for your entire visit! Paying for parking at the beach or Village allows you to move your vehicle between these lots without paying again!   Can I park overnight? Overnight parking is allowed at the Boat Launch Ramp. Overnight parking at the Village is only allowed with special permit and only at the Whale Lot. Overnight parking at the beaches is never permitted. There is an exception – if you have had too much to drink, please ask at the restaurant for a special permit so that you can get a safe ride home. Camping is always prohibited throughout Ventura Harbor.   If I am charging my electric car at a charging station, do I still need to pay for parking during weekends and holidays? Yes, all vehicles must pay for parking during the paid parking days and times.   I have an ADA placard. Do I have to pay for parking?
